Local skipper Allan Strang and his sons invite you...
... on a one hour journey starting from Oban's Railway Pier next to the train station. Aboard "MV Purple Heather" you sail across Oban Bay past Dunollie Castle and Hutcheson's Monument on Kerrera to the seal colony in the Firth of Lorne to include open views on Mull and Lismore.

Along the way there's an abundance of wildlife to spot like all kinds of sea birds such as White-Tailed Sea Eagles, Common Cormorants and many other species, of course seals basking in their natural unspoiled surroundings,You will also be able to see a local Salmon farm just behind Kerrera, and you might even see otters and maybe even Dolphins - all set in the beautiful and stunning scenery of the Scottish West Coast. The gallery below will give you a first glance.

Allan's son's commentary throughout will give you a good insight in local, history and nature aspects spiced with a few good laughs and anecdotes.

Prices 2018: £10 (Adults 15yrs+), £5 (Children 5-14), Family & Group Discounts available.
Trips run daily from 10am Subject to weather conditions.

"MV Purple Heather" is also available for private charter for groups of up to 40 people.
